Bad timing I guess. Your thread came after a trade proposal which was very similar to the situation you reported here. But you should also realize that many others appreciate your sharing of information and I am one of those. And I hope you are the first person to report here even if the deal is turned down.

What indication do you have that this is a true in the works trade?

Why would the Rockets trade for 2 players that just had surgery, and one just the other day?

Better yet another 2ppg washed up SG who had a torn acl last season after what, one game

Hoopsworld just happens to come with the same exact scenario at the same time.

No true Lakers boards or fans that hang on every move know of this, nor does any professional reporters or insiders, sans hoopsworld.

All of this with no proof and you want me to be gullible?

I can't give you any respect because you haven't earned it yet. All you have given is that the trade is in works. Atleast give us a little info on where you got your information. Like, was it from someone working with Lakers, or sports talk shows or something to that nature.

Don't worry LP, it's not like you came here and posted an old CF.net photoshop as a legit picture. ;)

    Time will tell. :)

    LakersPride,

You gotta realize that THE BBS is a great forum and like all great things they have there highs and lows, in this case it would be open minded, respectful posters versues immature posters who just want to lash out on someone.

I truly believe you have some kind of inside info and you are just passing along this info to all rocket fans from the kindness of your heart..I hope this trade does go down so you can tell all them haterz to get off you nutz, but until then just "shake dem haterz off" and keep posting.

That is one trade I hope dosent happen. I'm not interested in anyone on the Lakers roster outside of Kobe and Odom.

LP thanks for the possible scoop. We've got a lot of wannabe mods/comedians. Just ignore em. If you're right, great. If you're not, I wont be all broken up about it. It's the people who are being especially rude who are annoying me in this situation. They're not even being clever about it. I've read about 5 lame jokes and maybe 10 posts that sound like they're 5th graders (probably are).

Either way, thanks for giving us something to read. Ignore the worthless critics who probably haven't contributed anything to this board anyway.

Just wait and see guys. Dont see what the big deal is.

I wouldn't do this ordinarily, but you've made the same two mistakes back-to-back like our Championships.

The first "there" in both quotes should be 'they're', as in, they-are. The second "there" in both quotes should be 'their', as in, it's theirs to keep. They own that particular "certain player", so use their. Those are three different words: There, They're, Their.

There, should be use when you say stuff like, "Hey, it's over there!"

You could email your friends after this lesson:

"I went to this Rockets website a 3 years ago, signed up and then posted some insider information over THERE a couple days ago. It's awesome, THEY'RE eating it up as if Mihm with be THEIRS. THEY'RE so stupid over THERE, it's as if THEIR whole lives are wrapped around the Rockets. Now let's go get some Hollywood enemas so that our next fake rumor we start won't stink."

But you're an honest guy, right? You're only the messenger, right? It's just about respect in LA, right? I'm gonna go grab a beer, eh' hoser? Wait, that wasn't Hollywood, that was Canada. Hollywood is garbage. Get a tan, get a latte, get a breast-job for your temporary girlfriend and above all, get a new hobby.

Clutch will lock this again. Where will you get your attention then, LA?

    I hope I don't regret this.

Eh, I'm willing to take a "wait and see" attitude, but I'm not giving much credence to this rumor based on the fact that the lakersground forum isn't talking about this at all, and that no source has reported anything about it except Hoopsworld, which we all know is garbage, and even they said that this rumor is likely garbage. On the other hand, if this rumor isn't true.... what do we have to lose? No need to flip out over such a trivial issue.

I sure hope that all of you LP critics are crossing all your fingers and toes in hopes that this deal goes down. Because if it doesn't, it means that the Lakers are probably trading the same players to Portland for Darius Miles and Darius Miles playing alongside Kobe and Odom could spell trouble for a lot of teams, especially if they get his head screwed on straight. Not only that, but if we do not do this deal, we are still stuck with Juwan "both feet buried in concrete" Howard for another 25-30 mpg this year.

God. I hope Rockets can trade Juwan to the Lakers for a bag of chips even if it comes without the Salsa.

Cant wait to get rid of this scrub and his contract.

Good point. However, I think Juwan is better than Mihm right now. I'd do it for Cook if we tried to sign a 4/5 to our remainder MLE to go with him. We've got enough health related issues on this team already.

jopatmc, there aren't many people worrying about Darius Miles besides you. I dislike the Lakers so I hope they get him. He would be a great distraction for that team.

Ask yourself, why would someone who signed up with a moniker that obviously indicates that he is not a Rockets' fan, care if he was questioned on a message board he never thought enough of to post on for three years? I think we are being played.
