ya bc the warriors fan base disappeared after the cavs beat them two years ago, right? don't be stupid. newsflash: our fanbase does indeed suck ass. hell, this board b****es about it all the damn time! charlie palillo mentions it damn near every show and he isn't just talking about the arena - our ratings were down twenty-f*cking-percent as of the all star break. i mean f*ck the warriors owner for talking trash but he aint wrong - this city sure as hell doesn't treat this rockets team like it deserves. we're talking about one of all time great regular season teams in NBA history, the fact that this is even an issue is embarrassing. it'll also make beating the warriors that much sweeter for those of us who actually give a ****.
I so hope the entire team wears Ultimate Warrior t-shirts if we win a title and beat Golden State on our way to victory.
This is true. It's only going to get worse once they move out of Oakland (true fans) and into downtown SF and price the real fans out.
I’ve come to the conclusion why Rockets don’t have die hard crazy fans like other cities I think it’s because we’re level headed, down to earth people. Don’t get me wrong I’m a hardcore fan but even at games I’m not always euthastic, I just sit and enjoy and cheer occasionally in big plays. Other cities will have people that are literally obsessed to the point where it is there life.
He ain't wrong about the stadium fans. They're late. They're not loud. They leave if things don't look good. That being said, I was happily shocked at the turnout for the Suns game the other day. People were there early. They were loud. And they stayed despite being down 15 most of the game. And then to win it like that...the crowd went nuts! I have a great video of everyone cheering and jumping immediately following the shot.
Most billionaires are narcissistic in nature and the Rockets have stolen the attention he feels due to him.
Had a few burner accounts like Kevin Durant http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/pen15clubber-appreciation-thread.287988
Oracle was legit back in the mid 2000s when they were competing for the bottom seeds. The fans were into it and loud. Those were some real ass fans and everyone had on their yellow shirts. You know how hard it is for all of us at Toyota Center to put on our stupid red shirt? Just wait until they move into their new building and really really price out their fans. They’ll be too busy at the bar talking about tech ****, with their 20 year old escorts. They won’t even put on their stupid yellow shirt. They can’t be bothered with cheering. Their kids will be there trying to take selfies in the middle of the game.
Want a preview of what the Toyota Center crowd will sound like during the playoffs? Go to any Thunder, Blazers, or Warriors regular season game.
