Awesome news!! Glad they could see how dedicated this site and its fans truly are!! Congrats to Clutch and all.... and thank you to all who took part and time to voice there opinion.

Just FYI, Clutch is going today. He called me on his way. I offered to let him take my really good Nikon camera, but he didn't want to break it.

 

I was out of town this weekend through last night, so I just got wind of this- GREAT job lobbying, guys!

It's funny that the Rox orginization took until 2005 to recognize their website as a legitimate news and marketing source. If they spend a little more time and money on the site, only good can come of this.

 

I wonder if Mike James will be there today....

No prob, Clutchbo. I think it was important for us to put our foot down now rather than wait and let a poor precedent be set.

I think it would be hilarious if the posters in this thread who took action suddenly found their moniker title temporarily changed from "Contributing Member" with some reference to "Rambo". I nominate hotballa and especially Droxford.

 

Keep your head up Clutch! We know this is hard to swallow even after getting the media pass . It hurts alot , indeed.

But you run cc.net not for those ''bussiness people" but for the fans rite?... be strong and we cc members will always be with you.

It may have been a mistake to put him in Turbo's old suit. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

 

They did recognize us for that before, their PR guy Tim was an active and contributing member on this board. However, I think the new guy who replaced him decided to go in a different direction.

 

Give droxford the "Rambo" title, he came on strong. I was too nervous, and couldnt get my thoughts together half the time, I guess I'm mnore like "Rocky"

Everyone - thanks for the emails/calls/etc - esp. droxford who was the loudest of the bunch & Blatz for dropping the emails.

He could've taken my really average Nikon. I think I already broke it. That must be the reason why it takes bad pics... I mean, it obviously can't be me...

 

Clutchfans is the best Rockets related site period. No body else has done as much to promote the Houston Rockets. I very glad that the Rockets organization have changed their mind but it should never happened in the first place.
