I'm officially old. That arcade use to be a laundry mat when I went to school.
I was only there for 20 minutes cause I had to go to dinner around that area, but it appears some of those guys have never seen daylight in their entire lives.

I like that the game is one machine per person (2 linked to play), but it was $1. and as the other people here posted, its slow. I picked Vega and lost in 3 rounds to some asian dude with no expression on his face. he picked Ryu. Vega was SLOW. They had an anniversary edition, SF3, and alpha version there too, which is cool.

There was one dude playing DDR 2 players by himself. yeah.

Console Street Fighter IV 'Definitely' Coming This Winter

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Capcom's Street Fighter IV will "definitely" appear on American retail shelves this winter, the firm told Gamespot.

Europe can expect the game at "roughly the same time," Capcom added.

This vague release window coincides with claims made by Patrick Aiello, the producer of the upcoming Street Fighter film, that the game would be released near-simultaneously with the film. Capcom has yet to confirm nor deny Aiello's statment, though the opportunity for cross-promotion seems undeniable.

The console iteration of SFIV has been confirmed to include content not found in the scarcely available arcade version of the game, including additional characters Sakura, Dan, Fei Long and Cammy.

Hmm, I know it was slated for February but this will be great if it comes by xmas.

Hey tinman, I played sf4 in Austin at UFO. Not sure if you've tried it yet, but I found the game to be EXTREMELY easy. Have you tried it yet?

Odd. SF4 and SF2HD coming out that close together? God I hope MvC2 and SFA3 have online. Tinman is lucky he is on 360 and not PS3.

From the looks of it, SF2HD might be a waste of money. The graphics keep getting downgraded thanks to the memory limit:rolleyes: . The game continues to be delayed. Frankly, I don't even think this game will come out before SF4 for the consoles. If SF4 has decent online play, there's no point in paying $10+ for SF2Remix. I was really looking forward to this game too, oh well.

dude, i played the beta for SF2HD and i tried out SF Arcade.

SF2HD is the better game. SF4 might be better for the newbs.

I'll get both, but SF2HDRemix is gonna to be more popular amongst the SF2 Elite. The graphics are good, but the main thing is the gameplay, which is the case of all SF games. SF4 was slow.

I played it once, it was ok. not worth a freaking $1 to play though.
did they lower the price on it? I rather play the SF2 Anniversary arcade they have there for FITY CENTS

I wish they came out with any SFA game.
I thought the classic anime artwork on those games were great!

You forgot, this is Capcom we're talking about. They had 3 version of SFA. A million versions of SF2, 3 versions of SF3. They'll have at least 2 versions of SF4 w/o a doubt in my mind, :p

They'll probably charge us for each update like how they're charging us to play Protoman, extra difficulties etc in MM9.

well, I'm going to buy SF4 anyways, its probably better than Mortal Kombat vs DC. Already I've heard people wanting a SF4 Turbo

I'm glad they let us beta test SF2HD.. when some dude dizzied me and took off 50% of my health with two consecutive medium Ken shoryukens, you know they have some balancing issues to work out.

Yeah I dropped $3 in it and I was done for the day. I had a REALLY bad first impression the first time I played it, but after sitting down and playing it in Austin, I actually grew to like it alot. Maybe you had a similiar bad impression at first.

It would be nice if the game was a bit faster, but come on, this isn't MvC2 or SFA3. It's supposed to go back to the world warrior speed, if I'm not mistaken.

It would be cool if they had a mode for online where it was original sf4, turbo sf4, etc. If they can rebalance characters, they can EASILY make the game faster.

Maybe I'll plop in a couple of more bucks if I'm around the hyde park/campus area. The arcade is ok, it seems like the kids there have never seen daylight..ever!

rumor...Complete Street Fighter IV Character Roster Revealed?

An eagle-eyed Belgian gamer at the N.E.X.T. games expo took a pic of what is probably the character select screen from Street Fighter IV's console version.

Unless it isn't. Internets is internets, after all.

Assuming it is legit though, there are at least 26 playable characters - all the usual gang of Blanka, Chun Li, Zangief et al plus returning favourites like Gouken. There is some speculation that Rose from Street Fighter Alpha is lurking demurely on the bottom row.

Damn, Rose and Gen? If this is true, (and the picture looks legit) this game could have a really nice cast characters.
