Actually several red states are changing, Virginia will turn blue in the next 10-20 years, so will NC CO, Texas might even turn purple in that time period.

Time always change, today's conservative can be considered liberals if you go back 200 years, if we move forward fifty years, today's liberals might be called conservatives at that time.

There is practically no ideology in foreign affair I despise more than self-determination, and yes I would fight. The breakup of this nation is not worth fighting for? We are all Americans, period.

I moved there. it's not half as bad as what you are led to believe. still shopping malls and traffic jams.

if California seceded, we'd be the 8th largest economy in the world.

stay on topic, we're laughing at Texas right now bruh...

So, if Texas leaves it gains $10B in revenue. I think secession is untenable, but I don't see your point.

    70,000 + signatures, Texas.

    well done.

that's roughly .28% of the population of the Lone Star Republic.

You don't honestly think it's that simple, right?

The point of that post was not to show that secession was or was not economically viable for X state (good luck with that lol). It was to show that the "Obama's takin' my jerb and givin' my money too welfare mommas and I wanna secede from the union" morons are typically...from states that are typically the receivers and not the givers.

haha say good bye to all forms of national defense. They could blockade all of our ports and essentially cut us off... Its really not a good idea.

Thank God we are breaking off from the United States finally. Now we can go take care of Iran ourselves and hopefully none of those poor, entitlement-craving losers from Oklahoma and Louisiana try to cross our borders. I'm thinking a Perry-Cruz president/VP ticket will help build the strongest country that this planet has ever seen. Ron Paul for Secretary of the Treasury will be a nice addition as well. Something around a 30% income tax for residents with an exclusion of the top 5% of income earners form paying any sort of income tax should be sufficient since we are creating all of those bottom-feeders' jobs anyways. We need to privatize education, healthcare, heck we need to privatize government while we are at it. I'm so sick of all of these beaurocrats (except the ones that agree with me) telling me what to do. God bless the Republic of Texas!

I wonder why you haven't been posting any new nonsensical, pointless, whiny threads lately?
