A better person? No. But you'll probably live longer, feel better on a day to day basis, look better, you'll save money on healthcare costs, you'll be more environment friendly, you won't use as much fuel when in a car or airplane, and be able to do more activities with your kids as well. :)

But nothing wrong with enjoying a burger every now and then. They doesn't make you a fatty, unless you are a glutton and do it every day. I prefer whataburger over all the others mentioned myself. Carls JR is disgusting. In n Out is just OK.

I was there yesterday, the fries were dynamite!! We thought the burgers were good, but very fast food like.. I prefer my burgers to taste more home style ala Fuddruckers, Christian's Tailgate or Chicken Oil..

    Overall I'd give the burgers a 7.0 and the fries a 9.5..

FYI skip the grilled mushrooms they come out of a can and the cheese is processed..

I save a lot of gas by using public transportation...and cutting out all those unneeded trips to the gym. :p

Thats weird. When I had it in Maryland last year I enjoyed them cos they tasted more home style than fast food.

    Are they expanding too fast???

Absolutely agree. I don't know too many people inside or outside of Cali that would agree with the Landlord.

While many people would be healthier if they lost weight, it's anyone's own business how they run their life, and different people have very different metabolic rates and body builds. I don't like the emphasis on losing weight being better for the environment/ burning less fuel. I'm tall with a large bone frame - should I lose inches off my height to be more environmentally friendly? Or starve myself? People are different sizes and even in good shape will be a variety of different sizes - you shouldn't have to feel bad about that out in society, any more than about your race, ability or disability, etc.

OK, now, with that over with, someone just reminded me why I didn't like Five Guys (except for the fries). Because of the processed gooey "cheese" which actually seems to be more of a polymer. If you're going to charge that much, the least you could do is learn to use natural cheese. Culver's can do that, and somehow I prefer their burgers also.

(and there you get to the problem: I have to struggle with weight and people think I'm depressed or have bad habits, but no, I just love food too darn much. But at least I love life and want to experience it instead of bragging about how much of it I deny myself. I just try to "experience" a lot of active stuff too.)

I just got back from Five Guys in Rosenburg and I have to say I was very impressed. Alot of employees in there... I guess they need alot when they get packed and there are so many orders of Fries and burgers to make and prepare... More tables inside then the ones Ive been to in Virginia and North Carolina. Food was excellent though. My fiance and I split an order of REGULAR size fries and didn't finish them. Gobbled up all of my double patty bacon cheeseburger though. I just hope other franchisee's out there will see how much business they consume at their location (which is beside a billion gazillion retail shopping center stores) and spread out to Houston. They'd sure put a thorn in the sides of Jack in the Box or Wendy's if they came to my side of town, that I know.

Man the BBS gets me sometimes.

You guys are aware that these chain restraunts have hundreds to thousands of locations, with decathousands of employees.

Not all of them are the same. One day I get a stale nasty ass Jalepeno Double Cheese Whataburger, and the next day I order one and it looks a little like the ones from the commercial.

some of both. At least I like to do active things which keeps the damage from being that bad. And I don't actually eat that many burgers. :)
