    When you are in a movie, or concert you are away from reality and you are there for entertainment. You don't need to be reminded of serious issues for no apparent reason. A rapper at his own concert can insult anybody and or make stupid comments, those aren't serious. Nobody is going out to the parking lot to look for AIDs riddled dudes having sex. Rap is art. Music is art.

    I'm here to destroy the people who think politics all the time, I want them thrown in a halloween movie with Michael Meyers.

    Another thought: how do we know that the person DaBaby killed was actually straight? What if he was gay or trans? Nothing would change, nothing! The outrage manufacturing industry is all about words and feelings, not about actual rights.
    the line:
    "In our country you can shoot and kill a gay person, but you better not hurt a gay persons feelings” would have been on the money, too.

    I know people who were active in the gay rights movement are pissed about a lot of what’s going on. They fought for well-defined rights, not poorly defined culture crusades.

    Curiousity - QUESTION: What percentage of the population is Trans? gay?
    If you add all the LGBTQIA+ together . . . how much of the American Population does that cover?

    Hispanic about 20%
    African Americans about 15%?
    Asians about 6%

    Where would the LGBTQIA+ fall in those ranges? 10%?

    I have often wondered about the pure numbers of it all

    It’s absolutely ridiculous this is the fallout. What happens when the majority who are white individuals believing they are entitled to everything climb into the minority window and reap the benefits of outrage/sympathy to the full extent. Nevermind chapelle is a black dude and a comedian.

    do what you want and live your life, no need for this militant policing

    What is the fallout? Is Chappelle poor now?

    I've seen light criticism be labeled "cancel culture". Is there any room for any criticism at all without being outraged about criticism?

    Chappelle hasn't been canceled dude just made bank from Netflix, and Netflix defended him and fired trans workers who were upset (bold ass move).

    Not that Dave is doing it, but something to think about, if you support canceling cancel culture you are supporting cancel culture.

    Stop making crap up Netflix didn’t fire trans workers . A worker (not sure if he was) was fired for leaking private financial documents against company policy

    The fall out is the ridiculous continued protests and militant nature of these groups that actually forced the CEO who defended chapelle to say maybe he was wrong. I don’t see the other groups that have been the but of jokes up in arms like this. Usually people of color have to have untold brutality, officers keeping their knees on other folks necks to be taken seriously. It’s getting ridiculous, I think trans individuals should do whatever they want free from discrimination.

    The person was trans? How am I making crap up?

    The reason they fired/suspended them may be deeper then what was released but it was ultimately spurned from that person's discomfort over Daves show. Netflix backed Dave, and punished the trans employee for acting out of order.

    Dave isn't "cancelled" there are just opinion news pieces left and right reporting that some people WANT to "cancel" him.
