I still have hope for Daredevil. He was a character that caught my eye a long time ago because of the way Marvel went so dark with him. No surprise Frank Miller was involved. Hells Kitchen, fights some of the more gritty "real world" villains on the street level of things, the Reborn era with his personal/professional life and friends going into the gutter, etc. I still would put all my chips on the table and say Marvel should do a Punisher/Daredevil "Justice" movie. Put them together with both dealing with the Kingpin and each other. Almost writes itself. Go with an R rating for good measure. Yes, thanks. I forever keep saying/thinking Strange instead of Warlock. Mister Soul Gem.
That Carnahan Daredevil does look pretty cool. If Nolen can ever be tempted into doing another superhero movie Daredevil and Punisher seem like they would fit well into his style. Two heroes who are not incredibly superpowered with big issues about their psyche and morality. Daredevil being blind also plays into another big Nolen theme regarding how you perceive reality. As for other bigtime directors it seems like Powerman and Ironfist would be perfect for a Tarantino movie. He could just load it up with Shaw Brothers and Blaxsploitation references.
Not sure if I need to spoiler this or not, so I will anyway. Refers to casting of new X-Men film: Spoiler Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan set to return
