glynch: I admire your optimism, but it wasn't just last year. Cato was a loser in college, Portland, and now Houston. He's never demonstrated any skill (other than shotblocking, and that's sporadic) and he's had a bad attitude. It's not "irrational hatred," it's the ire of a fan base that knows its team goofed bigtime. ------------------ A few years back on the Senate floor... Phil Gramm: "If Democrats could, they'd tax the air we breathe." Ted Kennedy (jumping up): "By God, why didn't I think of that sooner!" Boston College - NCAA Hockey National Champions 2001
Naaahh, that can't be. Cato does have some skills....as a writer of children's books. toogq99 couldn't spell his own name. haven: I wouldn't say Cato has a bad attitude. He has no attitude at all. No work ethic, no heart, no desire to improve, and no balls = no attitude ------------------ I always thought "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm discovered". Now I think "With my talent, it's only a matter of time before I'm found out".
Yeah yeah....Cato's a bust. We've heard it all before. But, if you were in Cato's shoes, would you have signed the $42 million contract? I blame the Rockets management for the biggest blunder in our organization's history(aside from the PipSqueak fiasco which noone could see coming and the Matt Mahoney ordeal). All because Cato had one really good pre-season game with 10 blocks or whatever. Just goes to show you shouldn't make hasty decisions. I hope we learned our lesson. If Cato does somehow miraculously recover, then the Rockets management can say we told you so. But, can pigs fly? I think I will go to a pig farm and see because there's more chance of that then Cato ever becoming a respectable player who can play.
