I dated a girl in the early '90s who didn't shave anything. Hottest, freakiest, most passionate sex you can imagine. Get past your stereotypes, people.
One is not horribly bad but your wouldn't go for it while the other is its not horribly bad but you would put up with it.
I'd have to get used to it, but I wouldn't freak out or anything. The pubic hair thing is interesting. Not sure why guys prefer women who shave completely down there. I just don't get it. Seems a bit overdone to me.
A more realistic question is whether it's OK with you if she doesn't shave when it's just you and her or when other people are around, say, both of you are at a party.
I can understand not minding if a woman wants to shave but a preference for it seems like a pedaphilia thing. As for shaving in general, it has become the societal standard in this country to shave/wax exposed legs and armpits. But most women I know wouldn't bother if it isn't exposed or would let it go a few days if her husband is the only one who will see it. (Yes, we tried a lot harder before we got the ring but honestly so did you guys.) The trouble is that not shaving and then showing off that you don't is a political statement not a fashion statement or even a sign of poor hygiene. Why not shave armpits every day? Armpits are particularly prone to ingrown hair follicles if you shave often. The best solution is to wax. But you guys try waxing your armpits before you complain about a woman skipping a day here and there.
I've seen this argument before, and it is quite silly. It is much cleaner shaven. I certainly don't need hair there to remind me that I'm with a woman. Honestly, if women like men's faces that are clean-shaven, does that mean they're attracted to boys? No, it is a preference. Some women like beards on men. Some men have no problem with women's hygiene.
a vegan diet and yoga, dump her while yous till can ok seriously, if you really like her then i think it shoudn't bother to much, but like others have said, it is probably a political statement, so see if you agree with her statement, and if you do not if you can accept it. Let us know how it works out.
I've only known this woman for a little more than week and have maybe talked to her three times. Its way too early to tell whether we will end up dating. I didn't notice the weedy lawn until yesterday so I'll have to see her a few times before I decide. Right now its not a deal breaker but just throwing it out to the BBS to provoke some discussion. Now that I've dragged this poor girl into a BBS topic I guess I'm obliged to report if anything happens like if I see her at a bus stop and there's some big hairy dude with a bat.
To anyone (specifically men) freaked out by women who don't shave armpits (or legs), how many of you shave these areas on a regular basis? If you do not, how does that reflect with your position of thinking women should? (For the record, I think body hair is gross. Men should have to shave, too. But I'm also lazy, so I can understand not having a perfectly smooth, hairless body 24/7)
