I've always wondered how a 10-yard holding penalty offsets a 15-yard personal foul. Makes no logical sense.
Bubble screen, on 3rd and 17? Are you kidding me? The Texans have one of the most conservative gameplans for a good offense that I've ever seen (and no, I'm not merely reacting to the preseason - last year was the same problem).
I know it is preseason, but the Texans look really bad. Their offense looks predictable and out of sync: their defense looks, well, not very good. I am like the other poster, I hope they are saving it for the regular season because they aren't showing much now. Very disappointing performance, a Saints redux. They got no "snap" in what they are doing, like they are going through the motions.
I know its the smarter thing to do, but its pretty lame watching Favre fall limp when he saw Demeco coming in. Its like all Demeco had on Favre was one arm.

It's a bad decision by Schaub regardless, but that interception is also on Kubiak and Shanahan. That's what happens when you run zero routes down the field -- linebackers creep up in zone and cut off those slants because there's no incentive to stay back.
To which I say, thank God it's only preseason. Maybe their getting all their sucktitude out of the way now. As long as they play well when it counts.
