all of you all are stupid for sayign trade TMAC! without him we wouldnt have made it to the playoffs! we dont need to trade him or yao, we just need a new coach and a better point guard (Francis or Smush Parker...anyone but rafer!) and a bigger power forward. Next year rockets going all the way if we make these key additions

    TMAC+Head+Snyder+Bonzi+whoever else suxs
    for
    ...

Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, and PJ Brown

    Chicago will do this because:
    * After they get PWN't by Detroit, they will be begging for a superstar player
    * Head will be <3'ed since he went to Illinois

    Houston should do this because:
    * Gordon can score and will be able to make his own shot from anywhere and is absolutely fearless
    * Deng can basically score at will with his ability to hit the midrange shot and power thru the lane. He can also rebound well for a GF.
    * Brown is a solid backup at 4 and 5 and can hit a shot

This trade will give houston more of a bench

I would do this deal in a heartbeat, but CHI will not. They will give Gordon, but Deng is a stud.

I don't think trading either TMac or Yao is going to make the team any better. Just the perception that we're trying to make such drastic changes will keep us from getting anything close to comparable in return. And, of course, the team would have to build a new identity from scratch. And I like rooting for TMac and Yao, dagnabbit!

Like JVG said, next to Steve Nash, T-Mac is the best playmaker in the game.

...and some of y'all want to trade this guy???

This site should be renamed DumbFans.net

if theres anything any of you guys should know, its that you can never get equal value back for a super star player. it just doenst happen. the rockets would be r****ds to trade tmac, and they wont do it, so just shut up and wait for next season.

i am surprised that more people aren't asking for yao's head. tmac played great and is the better talent.

yao is not the ONLY reason we lost, but his performance was much more suspect than mcgradys.

    where's the trade yao thread?

    oh... there it is.

This thread needs to die a slow, painful death. Tmac was our best player this series and is an elite level player when he wants to be. So the natural response of the fans is to trade him, just like we blamed Mike James after he played well in the Dallas series.

He doesn't play them all at once. Shane is basically a 3 and could 2 or 4 for short periods.

Counting the Draft + MLE + Sura + Juwan + TMac we could end up with a fine set of the above.

Gosh a lot of other teams have.

Ray Allen would be a great addition for a 2 guard, but Rashard Lewis is another 3.

Exactly, but he takes up too much of the salary cap dollars to get any help for him.

Well if every other GM in the NBA was an idiot that would be a great idea.

Maybe, but he is still not a defender and not a PG.

Mike would be an upgrade that is true, but is not the great PG you said you wanted. However, he is not going to make the entry pass to Yao, but he will toss up a shot.

Trading is what this thread is a ll about. We need a 6' 10" Hayes that can shoot from 15' at least, run, defend, rebound and guard Yao's back. Know any ? There is one in Orlando, hehe.

    among others things

Now I am not trying to ridicule you or your ideas, but this is just my response to the posting you made.

Stop making sense. You're bringing the quality of this thread up a few notches by actually being rational. Shame on you. ;)

I agree trading Tmac is r****ded. Even talking about it is stupid. But which poster in this thread have you identified to be a SF3 fan or a Chinese fan? Use your brain before you make a post next time.

F u guys who think T-Mac should be traded, i didn't even bother to read this thread, T-Mac is a great player, one of the best, he played his heart out but his teammates are just not good enough, period. If Rockets are making big changes they should trade Yao this offseason(I'm Chinese origin but not a YOF). Yao is too slow to follow the new fast pace of NBA.

First off I would never trade Tracy Mcgrady. After seeing him vent out his frustration and play his balls off this last playoff series it seems he's finally got that hunger now. I believe T will be so god damn hungry next year that he's going to work harder in the offseason. With Hakeem hopefully helping Yao, I think we'll have the best team we've had in ages over here next year. There's no way I trade T. Well, only two players in the leauge I wouldn't be dissapointed if we got for T, either Lebron or Wade which is very highly unlikely to happen.

Trade tmac for KG or Durant. Tmac just doesn't have heart and isn't a winner. He did not play that well this series and his jump shot is gone. I expected so much from tmac these playoffs and he let me down big time. :(

With the way the nba is evolving. What about trading yao and head for boozer, williams, and harpring. I dont think the jazz would do it but man we would have a solid squad. Just a thought.
