How true. Harsh words can be spoken round here, but to use something serious that someone has shared is in a different class..i.e. classless. Generally not the dude that one would want to hang with.
Fatty, one thing I do know from spending too much time on this board is that, ,with all your woe-is-me tales of custody battles and legal troubles - I'm probably not going to take your input into account when making life choices Thanks for the tips though.
Whew. Sam I noted this earlier, but clearly something is bothering you today. Do you have something that you'd like to get off your chest, young man?
Goodness. I missed this nugget of brilliance last night. Sam, to put your mind at ease, I did not lose a penny on the Rose Bowl. My creditors did not seek repossession of my internet access. As I stated, I was on a plane returning from Las Vegas during the actual game, but replays showed that clearly Vince's knee was down where they scored that touchdown on the pitchout, and UT-Austin did not win by a margin of 7 points. Therefore I feel that the officials decided the game. Now, with respect to my absence, an astute observer would notice that I actually began my absence several days in advance of the game, and continued the absence well after the game was complete. I was out of town and focused on a new workout regimen during that time. I'll have you know that I am currently in peak physical condition.
Isn't it nice to leave for a while and pretend that nothing ever happened. BTW, the USC guys had plenty of time to watch the replay and call for a review. We got to watch the replay 3-4 times before UT attempted the extra point, hell, they even showed the guys in the booth watching the replay. UT reviewed the interception by Griffin and got the call right. It's no one's fault but the guys upstairs watching the monitor a foot away from them. BTW, it's not like we wouldn't have scored anyways.
Do you really believe that was the deciding play of the game? Nothing could have changed after that? At least TJ is man enough to give credit where credit is due... Please respond...

Lets get this thread back on track boyzzz. Top 100 in the nation just said yes to UT-Austin. Recruited as a CB. Curtis Brown WR 6-0 174 4.4 - Gilmer, TX ... looks like UT-Austin will snatch an aTm commit from the depths of Bryan-Davidian Station. Derrick Stephens LB 6-3/220 Cypress (TX) Falls Lets pray he makes the right decision. On another interesting front: If you visit NFL Draft Blitz they have projected the top players at each position for the next 4 years. If you click on Centers for 2010 you wil see that Rice has a center by the name of Ryan Burke who is projected as the 2nd best center of the 2010 class. http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/rankingsmain.htm Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. I expect a full NCAA investingation into the possible violation by Rice of the "gifts and benefits" rule. Gifts which might have included but are not limited to: a new Titanium TI-89 Graphic Calculator, a brand new leather bound Roget's Thesaurus, and various Multi-colored pocket protectors.
The funny thing is that aTm offered everyone of these guys 1st. Thier most recent commit RB Bradley Stephens out of McAllen (TX) Memorial accepted only after attending the UT Junior Day and not getting a scholarship offer. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that, barring some serious 1984-1994 level cheating, Rice will have a better recruiting class than aTm. Mack is gonna recomend Applewhite to every recruit that UT-Austin doesn't offer.
A&M's recruiting class this year after a 5-6 campaign was 25th in the nation. According to rivals. With the cakewalk schedule we have this year I don't see how we get fewer than 9 wins. To say that Rice will have a better class than A&M makes absolutely no sense. Rice had one 3 star recruit this year. A&M had four 4 stars and sixteen 3 stars. I would stake my life that we will not have a worse recruiting year than rice.
I don't know if percicles was being real serious about his prediction. No one can have a worse recruiting class than Rice.
