To his defense, both of his calls against him were pretty bad. Refs give the DB's to room to work. PB has looked great as an punt returner.
The WR simply lost his balance and fell down. Whatever little contact existed didn't cause that to happen.
morency is perfect for this system and I never understood why the coaches were on him in the first place. he's a down hill runner, was one a okla st. I never understood the complaint that he dances too much. does that guy not look agressive? does he look timid? carr has to be the only qb in the history of the league that doesn't benefit from a good running game.
The first one was cool with me. All he had to do was turn his head and look for the ball and it would have been a clean play. Was just bad technique, but his coverage on both players were excellent. At least the penalties weren't due to him getting burned.
if mario plays like this every game he doesn't need to get sacks and he will still be more valuable than bush could be. he's activity almost single handedly disrupted the rams offense. every player with question marks took a step foward this game except one.
I don't know if his arm is that strong but he really has some nice touch on his passes. Not only on the TD but on that pass to Joppru, that was a tough throw to complete and he dropped it right in there. He looks better than Carr just like last week.

Nice to see former UH standout, Brandon Middleton, getting some reps with the Rams.. I was hoping the Texans would look his way when he graduated in 03 but the Rams offense fits him better at least.
