Ebron will sign with NE and everything will be irrelevant for another 2-3 years. Astros Spring Training > Texans anything
What is your case that Ebron is essential other than just wanting to b**** about anything the Texans do now that Rick was fired?
It's so weird that the Texans have like 50 million to spend and yet they are still only bargain hunting.
Lol. My point was clear. One team had one of the best right ends in the game and they're still trying to get better st the position by trying to get a really good tight end across from him. Both are better than the Texans tight ends even if you included CJ. Meanwhile the Texans were singing the praises of their tight ends and "looking forward to them being healthy". It just sounds funny
Texans, IMO, need to gamble on Suh and Bowman. Texans are getting really cheap talent right now. They are going to have to spend it on at least ONE big free agent. They have to spend like 90%? of the cap. Don't waste it ALL on depth. Get some talent. CB Jonathan Joseph; $5M G/C Zach Fulton; $7M OT Seantrel Henderson $4M CB Aaron Colvin $8.5M WR Bruce Ellington $2-3M TOTAL: $26.5-27.5M Use a LT committee this year so that they are fresh and draft a franchise LT in 2019 Draft 1st round. Watson is a mobile QB. He doesn't need as much protection as Brady. Decent protection sure, but not elite. Monster Defense Additions to Front 7 DT Ndamukong Suh $15M ILB Navorro Bowman $6M
Doubt we even contact suh, but could you imagine the fronts RAC throws at qbs with watt, clowney, merc, and suh.... scary.
It doesn't really sound that funny at all when you consider that the Texans had a much better offense than Carolina when Watson was playing, and that the Panthers have a very limited QB who has to throw to TEs a lot because that's all he can do other than run. Carolina wants to help their limited QB - and? The Texans have a better QB and are trying to upgrade in other areas. You seem to think the Texans need Ebron because Griffin isn't good enough (your words). Again, what is your case for that?
I’m starting to think players do not want to play for the NFLs version of Donald Sterling. All this cap space and nobody wants to play for Uncle Bob. What a wasted free agency period so far.
Wondered how that narrative was gonna play out when free agency hit. Never know unless players come out and say it.
