Texas re-sign the Hall of Famer:

 

Top 4 player on the Texans current team.

 

I would wager the desire to play with Watson far outweighs the desire to not play for McNair.

Players are obviously more self-aware and conscientious, and it'd be a mistake to broadly label them as nothing more than empty money-grubbers. I'm sure there are some players who wouldn't choose to play for McNair. But the Texans have a lot offer prospective free agents that i think'll ultimately supersede any backlash to the owner, who they rarely interact with anyway.

 

Yeah Watson has that factor about him

 

He fits the bill. He is Texans-worthy.

 

Hopefully non guaranteed

 

I'm McNair's biggest critic, I dont think winning is in his top 5 priorities.

With that said I dont think he's a racist.

Hiring and keeping an incompetent Bobby Greir/RS for yrs. Hiring Jimmy Raye this last yr. Giving Tony Wylie his 1st chance in the NFL. McNair's stance on the NA is kneelers are bad for business and he's got this one right.

If there's one thing everybody should know after 15 years, McNair is all about business.

I'm kind of amazed that QB only received a 2.2! I realize DW doesn't have much of a track record, but what he does have should project closer to 3 or higher.
