I could give two ***** about back up QB. Spare me the Kap BS. Most every team if their franchise QB goes down they are done, save a couple exceptions. No different for the Texans, if Watson goes down they are done I don’t care who the back up QB is. We have one of the most dynamic QB and WR combos in the league. WR depth I expect to take a big step forward. TE are ****, and OL clearly needs work. Lamar Miller is dynamic and has break away speed and everyone loved the Foreman pick before the injury and those two were set to compliment each other perfectly. The offense was electric when Watson was healthy and the Oline should be improved. I expect more of the same this year if healthy, no reason to expect otherwise.
Yeah, maybe. For me it comes down to depth though, and it’s just not there. There’s definitely some talent, just not enough of it I don’t think.
And not to mention if DW struggled in his 2nd year after a stellar rookie year they're going to start calling him RG4. I'm okay with Weeden's familiarity and being ready in a pinch but Matt Moore intrigued me.
