Yea, me too. I just wouldn't necessarily blame him if he can't turn Fitzpatrick, Case, or Savage into a good quarterback. It's not like those guys have track records like Brady, Russell Wilson, Foles, etc coming out of college. But if Blake turns out to be a franchise type quarterback and Savage doesn't _ I'll probably cry over spilled milk.
Will someone throw a football or something!!? Shoot a basket, anything. This is torture, the sports "dead" season. Soccer and baseball, it's cruel. Now if the Astros were contenders and I could actually watch them (thanks again for screwing the fans Les) I might have a pastime.
s0urces close to me have confirmed that brooks reed will be inside sources have also confirmed that july is houston is kind of hot.
Tom Savage @tomsavage03 9h She said YES! Luckiest man in the world to marry my dream girl. Wouldn't be where I am at today… http://instagram.com/p/p-IsZzx4SL/
2 months ago, she said no... now he has a contract for a professional team. LOL just kidding, she is probably in it for love like McCarron's GF. The twitter fame was an accident.
This team is going to be bad. Not good. I know we all want this 2-14 thing to be a mirage and for them to be really awesome with the legendary Fitzpatrick manning the helm...but stop it. Just own it. Our team is bad. You're going to be a lot happier this Fall if you recognize this right now. The end.
This 100%. The Texans will win more than 2 games... But we are still going to be bad. We are the team other teams see on their schedule and pencil in a "W". We have one of the worst QB's in the NFL, an unhappy star WR, a running back coming off a mental breakdown and severe injury and a rookie head coach. 6 wins is a success... Less is very possible.
just when you thought we finally woke up from our groundhog day that began in 20o2, we find ourselves right back at the beginning. Football gods in the heavens, whyyyyyyyyyy?
I don't care if they are bad this year. They are building a new foundation. Fitzpatrick is a stop gap, not a long term solution. I more interested in seeing Clowney develop and appreciating what we have in Watt. I am looking forward to seeing what O'Brien's offense is going to look like, and how DeAndre Hopkins develops. I care more about the steps that the team takes this year to improve, than I do the win loss record.
I also want to see how Newton goes post injury, and Cushing as well. It will be interesting to see if Nix can stay on the paddock and be what we hope he can be and Su'a Filo will be fun to watch as well. Bullough I think will be a find. The running game is gonna be the highlight of this team's offense this year but the big thing for this team will be the D, but the O will have to sustain drives and score to make the D meaningful - unlike last year.
I hear ya...and I agree they took necessary steps to move on from old regime. Just surprised to read people try to convince themselves this was really a 9 win team masquerading as a really bad team over the last season and a half.
