Zachary Levine does a great job in breaking it all down here Code: Essentially, if the Brewers go 10-7 the rest of the way, an approximation of what they've done to this point, the Astros would have to go 14-3 for a tie, but the Phillies could ruin it by going 14-3, while the Cardinals could by going 15-3. With the season coming down to 17 games for the Brewers, Phillies and Astros and 18 for the Cardinals, here's a look at their remaining schedules. Milwaukee Philadelphia St. Louis Houston vs. CIN (1) vs. FLA (1) vs. CHC (2) vs. PIT (2) at PHL (4) vs. MIL (4) at PIT (3) vs. CHC (3) at CHC (3) at ATL (3) at CIN (3) at FLA (3) at CIN (3) at FLA (3) at CHC (3) at PIT (3) vs. PIT (3) vs. ATL (3) vs. ARZ (4) vs. CIN (3) vs. CHC (3) vs. WAS (3) vs. CIN (3) vs. ATL (3) To summarize the schedules, here are the number of games each contender plays against teams with winning records (WR), losing records (LR) and .500 records. Team WR LR .500 Milwaukee 10 7 0 Philadelphia 8 9 0 St. Louis 5 13 0 Houston 6 11 0 It's not only whom you're playing, but where you're playing. Here are the home and road games on the four contending teams' remaining schedules. Team Home Road Milwaukee 7 10 Philadelphia 11 6 St. Louis 9 9 Houston 11 6 Check back for updates daily, and let us know whether you think the Astros can make it. NEXT UPDATE: Approx. 4 p.m. after Reds-Brewers
bunt single by arroyo, haha, gotta love it. stros gotta take care of business tonight if the reds can hold on for the win.
I get Extra Innings to be able to watch the Indians. My father is from Cleveland and I grew up as a Tribe fan.
Mike Cameron should never be walked. Bad bottom of the 7th so far for the Reds. They walk the leadoff hitter, Cameron. Then with 1 out and Cameron on 2nd, Keppinger makes a bad throw to first and Cameron scores on an error. 2 outs now with a man on 2nd and Durham at the plate. Durham has 2 walks and a single on the day. Durham hits a sharp grounder but the play is made and the Reds are out of the inning. Reds 3 - Brewers 2 heading to the 8th. Mota is warming up with CC at 113 pitches.
I checked channelsurfing.net for the game but no luck. I know there are sites out there that show live games. I would imagine the Brewers game is available somewhere but I couldn't find it. You can try this but I think you have to register: http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=17741&part=sports
6 outs left. bronson is sure to come out after 120 pitches. who's the reds set up guy? i know COCO went yesterday but home he can close it again in the 9th.
Cordero hasn't been as good as last season. His ERA and WHIP are up and his K-rate is down. He is still pretty good though so hopefully the Reds can get out of the 8th without any damage and give him the ball.
