Most national forecasts that I have seen have the Texans just above .500 because of the tough schedule. I think everyone is going to be disappointed if that is the case. Of course if they get hot in the playoffs...
Extremely disappointing if we are barely above .500. It'll mean we got injuries or none of the guys took a step forward from where they were last year. As for week 1, it'll be a tough game. Naive to think that you can go on the road against a solid team that will be well coached and have a good game plan and dominate the game. We should win tho based on talent and what I expect out of the team this season.
The Jags came into NRG, ran up nearly 500 yards of offense & led by 10 points deep into the 4Q. Even if the Texans had hit that final FG... they could not stop Lawrence that day (season-high 364 passing yards). It was a spanking, imo. We'll see.
I know the Deshaun thread is closed, but it's awesome to see the Browns ****ed. Investing all that money on that ******* and the team being in cap hell for a while....
