I think that's why they brought in Futakasi, Settle (settled for ), & Azeez. I would prefer one of the hosses from DC (Allen or Payne), but I think we may have to wait until early in the season.
I'm so messed up looking at the original 7/26 date, I have no clue if they practice today in a closed setting or not.
I've been doubting AR ever since he went down for the season last year. He's never been an accurate passer, even at UF, and if he's too fragile to be a big weapon as a runner in the NFL, he won't amount to much.
Steichen will scheme well for AR so the Colts are still dangerous with his abilities running and passing.
Steichen is the key to the future of the Colts, not AR. If there is a coach who can successfully scheme around AR's weaknesses, it's him. IMO, to be successful, AR must be a dynamic and sometimes physically punishing runner like Josh Allen, only better. Last year demonstrated he can't do that. Since he's proven to be fragile, NFL defenders will probably target him even more.
I know he looked great for the 2nd half of the season leading into the post-season but didn't he also look awful the 1st half? Packers fans have gotten out of hand comparing him as a 4th year who finally broke out to Stroud.
