Herbert is one of the top QBs in the league. Hasn’t been a regression, not much team success but he hasn’t regressed.
Mac sucks. Baker is underrated at this point, Browns would be a lot better with him right now

To get to the Super Bowl through the AFC you're gonna have to win games in the trenches.

It don't matter how shiny your weapons are if you can't run block, protect the QB, and not false start every other snap.

 

They will get a RB this year that will fit what this offense does best. Benson/Allen/Irving are guys I like a lot. A cheap vet like Zack Moss should be added too. IMHO

 

I feel the same. Sure a #1 defense with Will Anderson being a "Ray Lewis" spiritual leader fixture would be nice. Texans had arguably this generation's GOAT JJ Watt on D. Still means little without stable star QB. Got to do everything to maintain Stroud's growth & success. Dont overthink & over-cute it.

 

They should be much better on the OL when they finally get healthy. Although I'm not against drafting a RT with a high pick. Look at how the offense looked with Dell and Collins were both healthy vs after Dell went out and tell me WR isn't a need vs a shiny new toy.

 

Texans still lose to the Ravens with Dell unfortunately.

You dont know this.

What we do know is the offense looked much worse without Dell than with him.

 

We do know that Dell doesn't play defense and Texans could not stop the run and they also could not run the ball.

 

DL are usually productive into their mid 30's.

 

Held them to 10 points in the 1st half.

Offense scored 3 points the entire game. I guess you must struggle with simple math.

 

Health on the O line and return of Tank does that.

Unfortunately playoff games are not won in the First half.

The Ravens scored 24 points in the Second Half and could have scored more if the game wasn't already completely out of reach.

Maybe we could have run Tank at tackle or guard and the Texans wouldn't have had a million false starts.

If Tank had been on offense then maybe they would've been able to hold onto the ball longer and the defense wouldn't have gotten worn down. Do you understand the concept of complimentary football?

 

Yeah Tank Dell is going to overcome an offensive line AND defensive line getting dominated.

When did they change this rule? Used to you could unless it was for a HC position. I'm not really worried about the OC position, if Johnson takes the Saints job then Klint Kubiak can takeover the OC position.
