I don't know his politics, but I definitely won't vote for him. No amateurs, please.

The Texas governorship is a symbolic position with almost no power and its why Harris County elections have the longest ballot in the country because our state constitution wants the power in the hands of the people but I'm sure you know this.

The irony is along with California, our governorship is considered a stepping stone for President

As far as his politics in fairly certain he is fairly liberal

    Abbott smiles

This definitely would split more liberal voters if he runs as an independent which I’m assuming he would since he sort of indemnifies typically as a Joe Rogan type of independent (closet Trumper).

He’ll be seen as a liberal though to the right and will split the vote of the left.

Please no... stick to acting please. There’s still a lot left for MM to do in movies and tv.

Has my vote. True Texan. Doesn't pretend to be anything. Typically plays himself and people consider it acting. Alllright alllright alllright. I pray he runs with an I after his name to unify our state.

Abbott needs someone to knock him out of office. MM might steal a lot of Abbott's UT voters, but we need a serious contender to avoid another disastrous term of Greg Abbott. His latest "open everything to 100% and strip the masks" shows how little he cares about saving lives. The last thing we need is Abbott winning another election.

I think he can win and he'll be better than mini-trump Abbott. People are just traumatized from Trump that they don't want another actor that requires insurmountable attention.

Absolutely. Yeah they might be weasels, but they at least treat their position like a real job, not a vanity project.

He should find a good candidate to SUPPORT and PROMOTE instead. Do we have good candidates here though? Doubt.

NO INSIDERS. POS insiders sold our country out. He shouldn't find a candidate. He should be one.

I wonder what creative ways he has to kill constituents.

You have to give Abbott credit, man knows how to take out his voters.

Texas has been all right for about 25 years now. I'd like to try some left.
