Considering his stuff, I wonder if he has potential long-term as a closer or setup man. Thank God for the shorter rotation in the playoffs. I don't know who Hinch will move to the bullpen, but they desperately need another trustworthy reliever.
What the **** is this? I thought we had a night game today and I just stumble into it no push notification or nothin. **** technology, anyone got the rundown?
I think Morton/colin would be reliable in the pen. Morton would probably sit 97-98 mph with a couple pitches to work off of.
I honestly like Hinch. He is the perfect leader for this team. Sometimes he thinks a bit too hard for my liking and it causes a bit of mistrust. Had no issue with Martes there.
Gave up a run...too shaky...don't trust him. Really fortunate that Musgrove seems to be excelling in this role, because everything else before Giles has been extremely wobbly. Although Devo is looking better. First 90 win season since since I was in High School, feels good.
Changed it up a little. This is how I feel. Starting pitching version: Trust: Verlander Peacock Somewhat Trust: Morton McHugh Don't trust: Keuchel (can't stay healthy) McCullers (can't stay healthy) In the postseason I think it'll be: Verlander Keuchel Peacock McHugh I'm sure McCullers will still be injured. If not, he should be in the pen. Dude will be rusty as hell.
Three game winning streak !!! Better than losing. Main thing is health for the playoffs. We got game.
Before the game, Verlander seemed to be giving tips to Musgrove- which worked! (well, except for the HR):
