Wish the Astros could have played this well all season. They've been HOT and ICE COLD this season. I would love to be somewhere in between.

Always feels good to be beating the better teams....especially the cubs.

We're 9 back in the loss column to the Brewers, but essentially 10 since they have the tie breaker over us, 8-7 season series win.

While catching them is unlikely, they do have some tough series (2 with Cubs, 1 four game series @ Philly). With Ben Sheets suffering another injury, if long term, could be costly.

    Just keep winning.

Well the only I remember is the one where the crowd standed up when Lidge pitched against Berkman. Most of the time our crowd is dead. The Cubs have the best crowd in the majors bar none.

There is no tie breaker in baseball UNLESS the two teams are tied for the division and the wild card (in other words, each would make the playoffs). If the Astros and Brewers were to end up tied for the WC, there would be a one game playoff.

A classic example of the dumbing down of our younger generations. I suggest skipping a few baseball games and picking up a book or two.

On ESPN's standings page, our chances of winning the division just rose from 0.0 to 0.1. OH SNAP!

You have not been to many games at MMP have you? you have never seen crowds stand up when the Astros are rallying in the bottom of the 9th? I suggest you check video of the 9th inning against the Mets (the play at the plate game). Thats just one game . As a matter of fact every crowd stands up when the team is rallying in the bottom of the 9th. Do the Cubs draw better crowds during the regular season ? Yes! But that does not mean that MMP does not have a great atmosphere. Quit trolling here stick to the Rockets!!!
P.S. Enjoy the Cubs while you can and pray that they dont play the Dbacks in the first round.

By the time the WS comes around? Both teams will be home sitting on the couch.

Tip jar bet? I'll donate $25 to the tip jar if the Cubs go to the WS this season and you donate $25 if they don't.

    Guess what? The Cubs suck.

By the way...where's the Lone Ranger Fan? What happened to all that noise? Oh, that's right....they suck too.

IDK, I feel an epic Chicago choke brewing.

    Rays-Brewers World Series.

    Rays in 6.
