    Well. You don’t have to believe this, but it’s true. I watched the game tonight about 50 feet away from him. I noticed that he left around the 8th inning. He had a full entourage, but only a handful were still there at the end of the game. I assumed he bet on LA, but I had no idea he bet that big. Holy ****...

    Jose Altuve extension is hopefully top priority.

    With Beltran, Gregerson, Maybin, Liriano, Clippard, etc going off payroll, I suspect that's either enough to nab an elite closer or a veteran replacement for Beltran's regular season role and a couple strong middle inning relievers. Shedding Sipp and Fiers contracts for end of the road prospects would give Luhnow more flexibility.

    2018 pitching staff wishlist

    1. Keuchel
    2. Verlander
    3. McCullers
    4. Morton
    5. McHugh
    6. Peacock
    7. Giles
    8. Harris
    9. Devenski
    10. Musgrove
    11. LHRP FA
    12. Closer FA/Trade

    (13.) Keeping an open window for developing prospects who could become elite relievers. If Martes, Feliz, Paulino, Rodgers, etc earn the spot over a 13th position player.

    Obviously no one is taking Giles remaining years right now.
