You’re asking me because I’m old. That’s not nice. But great freaking question. Not that I can recall.

So let me guess...Most of the post-game analysis will be about how Sale was off his game yesterday.

FS1 and ortiz are terrible analysts.

1 more to pass this test, 9 more to pass the big one.

Really good that we were able to get Giles into a low pressure situation. The combo of week off and first playoff game made that a very combustible situation. He was just throwing the ball towards home plate, had no control.

I think the time off messed with Keuchel as well. He looked terrible for the first 2 innings, but he worked through it like an ace until he was able to get into his rocking chair.

I've long since run out of superlatives for this offense, just a great all around win. Couldn't have scripted these first 2 any better.

    '81 vs. LA.

    Then they lost 3 straight.

It's funny you mention this because we could be looking at a similar situation if we sweep and the Yankees-Indians series goes beyond the projected sweep.

Meanwhile Kluber looks like Sale. Done in 2 innings.

Always have excuses for when Giles looks like ****. When he's on...great...he's on fire. Today he sucked in a low pressure situation. If this team wants to win it all he sure in the hell better be able to handle high pressure situations.

I think Boston made a mistake pulling Price when they did, he was the one guy that was getting Astros out. I would've kept him in until he gave up a string of hits or walks.

closers even the elite ones like flirting with danger. there is no danger in a seven run lead so their entire mind set changes. Giles is still great. hope he can continue it for another 5 seasons.

The Nationals starting rotation does concern me, though.
