Haven't we collectively said that we prefer to have our closer brought into the most important inning, even if it is the 7th or 8th? That the "closer" title is archaic, but still the norm? So Hinch has the balls to make the right call, and instead of appreciating he brought in our stud closer for the opposing team's 3-4-5, we mostly complain? Awesome, the loser's mentality is still strong.
That was actually a really good move by Hinch... Even though I hated it at first because i didn't realize it was the meat of their order due up.

i get what you're saying but this is a diff situation because you already threw out your Ace and he was dealing + 2 innings + he's only pitched one playoff game and that was in a blowout with no pressure
It's not him bringing him in the most important spot that gives a cringe. It's him letting him go two innings. We'll see what happens.
