Unlike the Astros, don't settle for staying competitive

    Exactly how I feel, must be because we are 'religious' :)

    I think we know where the division always lies on this board. There are some that think the franchise is done for 10 yrs and there are other that have seen this before and know how quickly it can come back. Look no further than Utah,Portland,and Orlando. The Blazer and Jazz made the playoffs for 20 straight years before they finally had a lotto season or 2. Once they had them and let stockton and malone fall off the books, they had the gumption to go buy good,young developing talent like Okur and Boozer. In the meantime, they kept drafting well with williams , brewer,miles and others. They also kept some wily vets like harpring. I'm for rebuilding. Like i've said before, rebuilding shouldn't prevent you from acquiring young talent.
