I say the game after Xmas, the team would have had a good practice or two by then. If he shows anything, its TWILL TIME.
Why does Budinger get so much playing time if he can barely shoot or play defense? It irks me how Terrance doesn't get a chance or how lee doesn't get the minutes at least.
Because Terrence is new. New guys typically don't get inserted into a role with a well-organized team very quickly. He's going to have to earn his minutes starting with practice, then garbage time.
I'm pretty sure the Rockets are treating Williams like a rookie. That is, they're trying to develop him right now rather than actually having him contribute. It could take a while for Williams to get familiar with the system and be ready to contribute. Just be patient.
You have to actually put a leash on before you can take it off. They're indoctrinating him in Rocketball. So just relax, because we all know they want this guy to play.
Let's calm down now...the guy technically hasnt even proven himself, here or in NJ, other than having some spotty good games...also, we're winning. Why mess with the chemstry? LEt this team play it out and see if we can get on a roll. Also, Twill isn't lebron. He's not that good that you can just insert him for instant offense or playmaking. The guy needs to get an idea of how the ofense is ran, otherwise he can either disrupt everything by doing too much outside the offense or be a non-factor because he doesnt know what to do within the offense.
He just came from the d-league into a team with an established rotation trying to build a winning streak. Let him get some practices in and I'm sure Adelman will play him when the time is right.
