University of Texas Summer Orientation

    i applied, and that question was there...

    but i think i applied too late and didn't get in consequently...

    but i really hope that i can make the program this year...do they look at HS credentials or UT first semester credentials??

    hey it says on the FRI website that teacher nominations were due May 11th...I just heard about the program only last week....


    can I still register or is it too late??

    Why don't you try figuring something out for yourself? You have been constantly asking questions about the most insignificant things that you can determine with a simple phone call to say...hmm...the program itself? Maybe send them an e-mail?

    Nobody is going to hold your hand throughout college. Learn to figure things out by yourself.

    At this point, I have to agree. UT does a great job of getting people accustomed to college life. You don't need to worry so much, just roll with it. Or at the very least, speak with an adviser and not a basketball BBS.

    i'm just asking for advice...haven't really been away from home...so i don't have any expectations...because i have heard mixed reviews from so many alum...

    just trying to get all the advice i can get...

    just afraid of making the transition from HS to college...

    this thread won't be here until after I attend orientation...

    if you apply to enter in the spring, they will look at your hs credentials. the application is due pretty late, and to my recollection it is december. but if you apply for the fall after that, they only look at college grades. just make sure to take some "science honors" classes like intro chem or genetics.
