I really don't understand why united is liable for law enforcement beating a trespasser. The black officer has been put on leave already, the person at fault seems obvious to me. by loyal you mean live in Houston. A rarity on clutchfans these days I guess. I hate united, much worse than continental.
You hate to see someone getting dragged off of a plane like that but honestly, if he was a mature adult.....like the 3 others who were selected to get bumped off the flight, then it's nothing but a minor inconvenience. People these days simply don't know how to act and it's kind of pathetic.
You are a ****ing moron.. You have no idea what it's like to be a physician and have patients depend on you, procedures to be done, etc. From what I am hearing they don't boot you before you've already boarded. He did nothing wrong and they dragged him out while he was bleeding rather then tending to him right there in case he sustained some neck injuries or a concussion. It is extremely irresponsible. Then again, you try and be the "edgy" limp dick r****d in thread after thread...
Perhaps, but if he makes that much, he can better afford to lose it than others. I'm sure he thought he was more important than the other 3 who were bumped from the flight without incident, but he's wrong and maybe he needed his ass kicked.
Yea bro. That's it. I can see it coming, baby gets stomped and you'll swoop in claiming the baby's head was in the way. You're trying way too hard.
yeah, but not everyone wants to see their patients/customers hurt more than necessary. Also, where is the video of him being belligerent? I only see his wife screaming after he was beaten and dragged out (she was one of the three that volunteered). At the end of the day, I think what this will do is shine a pretty big light on air line industry's practice of overbooking. Maybe this can get FAA (or maybe a smart political party) to look into regulating it more. As a side note, airlines are now mass transit business, so this is to be expected. This is also probably why U.S. need high speed trains and other alternatives. Like I've said, I've being put on stand-bys for 24+ hours before. I don't make as much as a surgeon, but the cost of an extra PTO is still several hundred dollars pre-tax. All I got from filing an email complaint was a crappy <$200 voucher.... that I didn't use because why risk flying United at this point. I guess I was the good customer that chose to be civil - and to avoid flying united unless they're 1/2 price of other airlines. But yeah, there's definitely some opportunity for United on the customer service front.
