In a rural region called https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eifel - I believe @Two Sandwiches was actually born there (there is a military base there).

So you're basically from Luxembourg? That kind of explains things ;)

Never been around that area, I'm much more familiar with the other side of Germany and those surroundings.

Whatever happened to Two Sammiches? I remember him being a solid dude.

This is not surprising, and I suspect there will be more targeted assassinations of politicians, Oligarchs, and people that have been ripping off the American people.

Throughout history whenever the rich 1% reach this level of percentage of money, the serf or lower class rises up and desposes of the people at the top.

Off with their heads being a rallying cry when France did it.

After Citizen's united was allowed to secretly pay off politicians and not report it, the discrepancy grew bigger. Elon Musk is now involved to protect his 4.9bn in subsidies from the government and to stop the DOJ's investigation into his auto pilot program and the negligence behind it's launch.

There is no more line of decency when children have been killed in schools, I suspect this will only get a lot worst before it ever gets better....and that there will be a lot of very rich people murdered in this country - particularly those that are perceived to harm citizens like Insurance companies do.

    No, it's wealth redistribution.

Cut $2T in taxes for corporations and ultra wealthy- pay for it by cutting $2T in government expenditures and social safety nets.

Crash the economy, the poor and middle class suffer, the wealthy buy up assets are firesale discount prices. When the economy recovers, the poor and middle class are where they started and the wealthy are 3x on their investments. Throughout history, after every recession the wealth gap explodes.

What will happen under Elon and Trump is the greatest wealth redistribution (bottom to top) in history. Hang tight people.

That is her opinion …. she has lived through and seen more than you or have or ever will… has had to learn multiple languages… multiple cultures and is in her 90’s… if that’s her view, I respect it. She has always been supportive and respectful to me.

It is random racist babbling though.

Edited to add more, out of respect:

No idea why you'd respect it. Respect HER, as a whole ass person and not one hot take? Of course.
For example. I have an uncle that told me never to trust black people because they will always have that ****** inside them. He is old, knows 2 languages, wiser than confucius why not, has always been cool with me... and I don't respect his take on that one.

He's certainly had personal experience to help him form that opinion, got brutally jumped and mugged a few times. I understand why he feels the way he does, doesn't mean I'm going to bank it with me as wisdom. I have a grandmother in law who thinks white people are the devil (loves me, though), again, not respectable wisdom, despite her certainly having experiences in her life (grew up in segregation) that lead her to such a take. Understandable take, respectable person, not a respectable take.

I'm certainly not gonna say I'm OK with this...but I also have a lot of difficulty feeling the slightest bit sorry.

I think the private for profit medical setup we have in America is the most immoral and unethical thing we've for some reason people have been brainwashed into thinking is OK. Not Trump, or gun violence, or obnoxious evangelicals. If I could snap my finger and change one thing about this country this would be it.

Even people that have insurance are scared to go to the doctor because the greedy f**kers exploit every loophole possible to screw over anybody that isn't very well off in life. Thousands of dollars for the simplest s**t, give me a f**king break.

This definitely seems like a professional and / or well planned hit. Watching the video the killer is very calm and methodical including clearing out a jam in his weapon to shoot Thompson again.

just saw on the news the words “Defend” and “Deny” were found on the shell casings.

I don’t like insurance companies and have my problems with them. I agree our system of providing healthcare through private for profit insurance is terrible.

I’m not ok with assassinating executives. I think rather than positive reform this will lead to a backlash of calls that violent Leftists are going after the business executives and justify more crackdowns on protesters and groups pushing for reform.

False -- the greatest redistribution of income was in the last 3 years when inflation and rent increases crushed the working class and the fiscal stimulus (which turns into money printing as T-bills are issued to cover budget deficits) caused the stock market and real estate valuations to soar. Rich people own equities and real estate. Poor people don't. Wealth further redistributed. What the Democrats thought would help the poor actually turned out damaging them severely. And that's why the Democrats got voted out of office. Very simple.

    GOOD DAY

Yeah, this always works out well to staunch violence.

I think THIS has to be the most concerning to THE RICH
there seems to be a near universal lack of sympathy for this guy
almost to the point of people boarderline saying "he deserved it":

Is this how it started in France with Robespierre?

Ehh I don't think it is really racist babbling.

I asked my wife about it, as it is her aunt (really great aunt) and her thoughts this morning. She said she has her aunt have talked about it before. Basically her point is that white people (which for her is Americans) are the most powerful people on the planet as far as money, influence and prestige. Men have more power than women and are given more excuses - so a crazy white man is capable of a lot of damage.

She has dealt with fundamentalist Muslims trying to kill her and her family - she has had relatives killed by the USA in the Iraqi war.... she had Roma people steal all of her possessions in Europe and when she moved to the USA she had white Chicago Police Officers demand payment every month to keep the Chicago Mob and black street games from robbing her and hurting her children and grandchildren.

I have no problem with what she said - that is her experience - and she has been on this earth a very long time and has always treated people well from what I have seen with my own two eyes.

This is concerning, but not "for the rich" (whoever is supposed to be included in that group).

It's a concerning sign of a high degree of envy and lack of empathy in the people who feel that way. Lack of a moral compass.
