I think our uniforms looks good. A black one would look sharp, but the league gives a no-no to black unis. But i like the logo and the way the jerseys are. I really wouldn't mess with a good thing.
That's hot too. They should switch to black & red when we reach the playoffs again next season. That would be bad@$$.
Why does the league think black is a no-no? I think I missed something about the league's approval process...please inform me, it would much appreciated. Staying on topic, if the Rockets don't get alternate jerseys, they should at least redo the road jerseys so that they have "Houston" across the chest instead of "Rockets." Our championship jerseys had Houston on the road jersey and Rockets on the home jersey. You've got to represent! Besides, Les, new jerseys mean additional income if you play your cards right
no there's a pic that someone has. it's black and red with tmac in it. it is SWEET! can somebody post that?
and the Heat jerseys are pretty much black I think they just don't want teams to all wear the same color.
Someone already did, but here it is again. http://www.clutchfans.net/image.cfm?img_type=wallpaper&image=2006_impossible_1600.jpg
10-15 years ago the league saw a flurry of teams starting to use black as their new primary or alternate color and basically didn't want to see the NBA go too monochrome. Teams already with a predominantly black variation of their uni: Philly Chicago Miami San Antonio Minnesota Portland Sacramento and Orlando have since changed from black to their more identifiable colors/or changed their alternate color. Pretty sure that over half the teams in the league have a request sitting in the league office for a black uni.
