I always liked the Houston Gamblers uniforms. Maybe because I'm a black/gray kinda guy. Perhaps an "H" on the side of the helmet with Texas carved into it.
I voted that unless they’re going to rebrand the team entirely (something I highly doubt) that I’d prefer they be predominately red…helmet…jersey..using that as the dominant color instead of blue. Anything they can do to be more Houston and less Texas, generally, is a plus to me.

Do the Adams own that color we all want? What would happen if they did bring that color? I'm not buying that they would even entertain our feedback. This is just like when a celebrity on twitter asks for TV Show suggestions. MFers already know what they want to watch they just got to make it dramatic.
all of these are awesome, if they used the red/white/blue scheme in the top 3 panels I would be very happy.
Adams doesn't own the color... but if they feel things are 'too similar' to the previous brand, they can complain (as they did with the XFL logo). The Texans fan appreciation t-shirt is going to be in Columbia blue... again, maybe they're just trolling the fan base, but they're certainly teasing it as a persistent option.
And what is that, pray tell? The apathy/indifference to the team? The ascension of the Astros? The Rockets rebuild?

I like that a lot. The white helmet was our original concept The battle red helmet looked awful with the red jersey and white pants. The red of the jersey looked pink in contract to the deep color of the battle red helmet. I do however like that red helmet with the blue practice jersey. Better color contrast. IDK what the pants color and socks combo would be though. White without outline pops on deep blue colors. The darker blue and a touch of red( to distance from the Giants. Speaking of Giants, i love their all white look with red numbers and red socks, but with our red helmet, we do the opposite with blue letters and socks on white. You're really limited to red white and blue due to the name IMO so no avoiding comps to other rwb teams and in the AFC, it's the Bills with their white helmet and they already got all the classic stripes theme going on too. Otherwise i would like to see our battle red helmet with classic blue and white strip down the middle.

I think that is the key. They will NEVER be the team of Texas. Try being the team of HOUSTON I think they end up keeping the red helmet as the primary helmet (the white ones are terrible, anyone pushing that should stop). I also think they flip the logo on the side to match. They seem to really like the H logo which I am all for, the simplicity of the “H” is way more representative of the city than anything they have done before. I think that becomes the secondary helmet design. “Houston Blue” will replace “deep steel crap.” Houston Blue/Red/White will be the new primary colors I don’t think the name changes, but I think it absolutely should, it’s still the worst name in professional sports
