Symmetry. The logo is flipped or mirrored because it looks better from the front. Looks like 2 sides of the same “bull”. Every team in league will flip their logo as it looks strange to have logos go in opposite directions.
https://www.houstontexans.com/news/...2bf08a&elqaid=3352&elqat=1&elqCampaignId=2527 the fan survey on the brand/uniform has some interesting questions...
Are they just trolling with #3? Because the overwhelming support is for it and the fans aren't idiots like the owner is...
Gimme that combo in 3 with silver. Not as sure which color should be more prominent though. Probably red, then silver then blue, so we avoid looking like the Cowboys. I want it all changed. New logo. New uniforms. Go slightly bold, but not kitschy. I'd honestly be okay with that H within an accurate state of Texas. Otherwise, don't use it. New QB, new coaching staff, maybe new front office. That's the only way you can get me to avoid saying new owner.
I’d love to get rid of the steel blue. Keep red and white for sure and maybe the luv ya blue or silver. But like you said, it may resemble the cowboys.
I think they need an all new scheme. I want a new logo for sure. Different colors would be nice as well. We have the most boring and overplayed color scheme in all of sports. When I did the survey, I wrote that our color scheme and uniforms reek of designers trying way too hard to create something that is classic, and that it didn't work because the history sucks. I wrote that we're in a rebuild and we need something fresh and all new so that we can hopefully start a new era.
Funny. Never thought of it that way. I'm thinking red as the dominant color, silver as the secondary and a similar blue as accent. But your post made me LOL because of how obvious that connection is, yet I failed to resize it. And yes, I have always loved the Titans color scheme. It's just been executed poorly. A step in the right direction was the dark helmets though.
I kind of said the same. I would like to get rid of the shoulder design. I like simple but traditional. (Even though Texans don’t have tradition). Uniforms like raiders, packers, Niners and dare I say cowboys are simple but nice. I also mentioned how the other major cities have that one logo that really represents the city and/or the state. Dallas, the star. SA, the spur. Austin, the longhorn and burnt Orange. Houston doesn’t have anything like that. The Derrick (oiler logo) was perfect for houston. I know we won’t get that back but we need something that represents us.
