I know it's AI, but interesting to note that 8 out of 10 of these uniforms really haven't changed in the last 50 years. Goes back to my point about TRADITION. Packers in same uniforms as the Lombardi era Steelers in same uniforms as the Bradshaw era Cowboys in same uniforms as the Landry era Niners in same uniforms as the Montana/Rice era Raiders in same uniforms as the Madden era Bears in same uniforms as the Ditka/Payton era Dolphins in same uniforms as the Shula 16-0 era Texans should have the same uniforms as the Watt/AJ era. That's the best we got. TRADITION.
There's no tradition lol. Those jerseys look like half the other jerseys in the nfl. Zero identity. Anything is better than the current ones. Whichever font they want.
Whose uniforms have prominent letters on them in the NFL? I don’t think we’re going to see big letters splashed across these uniforms. They may be on a new logo, but I doubt seriously those would be on the jersey or helmet.
They aren't in your face, sure. But there's a handful that are noticeable. ATL and NEW YORK really stand out on the Falcons and Jets. Probably won't happen but I don't want to see "H-Town" with that font on the front of the jerseys.
The 'tradition' argument is undercut by the fact these uniforms are all basically just palette swaps of the exact same design. I think you've put the cart before the horse in this instance. These uniforms aren't good because they're traditional, they're traditional because they're good.
You forgot the Chiefs in your 8. I get your point, and kinda agree with it, but all 8 of those have won at least one Super Bowl, btw, which helps the TRADITION just a bit.
Broncos, Seahawks, Patriots, Eagles, Saints all never won SB's in their original uniforms... they've all won since they changed. Also you forgot the Colts (as well as the Chiefs) in your above list of teams.
Call me crazy but I like the helmet much better than what is on right now but we don’t know if that’s going to be the final plus I’m sure they would change the uniform as well
I don't mind the star in front. Offensive players are basically going to see a swarm of stars coming at their ass, better duck!
