All thsee options are ugly. Just stick with what we have, if they can’t come up with something better
At this point right now I think the biggest thing that needs to be changed is that helmet that dumbass bull looks stupid on the side it just looks weird and off balanced lol
I don’t want our uniforms to look like the Texas flag. That’s boring af We’ve already cornered the market on looking like we belong in Arlington. Let’s not double down on it. Let’s look like we represent Houston.
Lol right? My snores are snoring. I’m great with the new H logo and mixing in the light blue. I’m great with going all in on red. But damn man regurgitating the state flag would be really disappointing to me while simultaneously be fitting for a North Texas suburb
On my list of things I don’t want, the old English lettering is pretty far down below jerseys that look exactly like a state flag
I'm not a fan of the bull either, but I have to admit, it's in the upper half of NFL logos (ignore the "rankings"). Most NFL logos are unbalanced, too busy, asymmetrical, etc. The bull is actually on the simpler/less noisy side of the spectrum. The #1 thing I hate the most about our aesthetic are those ****ing shoulder flares. They're supposed to replicate "bull horns" but to me they just look dumb and incongruent. They also make the fit/styling on the streetwear jerseys absolutely terrible. I'm a sucker for the minimalist/classic look. Colts, Packers, Cowboys, Niners, Steelers, Bills, etc. But I don't think we can pull that off.... but the concepts are fun.
I get what you're saying about the shoulder "horns" but the logo kind of forces you to use sharp/pointed lines. It's basically that off center parting flare through the logo itself dividing the blue and red. Our pants with a traditional stripe clash as your concepts you posted with straight lines clash with the logo. To combat all the clash and not wanting the flare style, you can go absolute minimalist with just jersey sleeve and neck stripes and a single thin stripe on the pants. I do love that red primary idea with a white helmet. Too much navy blue/"steel blue" looks bland like the Atlanta Hawks of the mid 2ks. I'm also good with the battle red helmet and simple blue and white jerseys with just a touch of red accent only.
