I just want more flexibility using the three helmets at any time during the season. Imagine going into Tennessee with the H-town helmet.
Agreed. I prefer Tennessee being infatuated with us. Not us jumping through hoops to validate our identity to them.
Starting in 2025, the Titans plan to embrace the look more than ever – the team is switching to light blue as the primary home jersey this fall. "We're talking to fans and we're listening, and there's a clear appetite to have the Titans, their team, represented on the field in this noticeable color that has been with this team from 1960 in Houston, into Memphis, at Vanderbilt and as we've played at Nissan Stadium," Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill said. "We're going to emphasize that this year and change to Titans blue as the primary color. As we sit here today, the plan is to wear Titans blue at every one of our home games this year." The team will have the option of wearing their white uniforms on the road, with the navy blue uniforms becoming the alternate uniform. The plan is to be more consistent with uniform combinations this fall, jerseys and pants. With the focus on Titans blue in 2025 and into the future, the Titans will not be wearing their throwback Oilers uniforms this upcoming season. Nihill said the team will continue to pay tribute to players past and present with the light blue uniforms and highlight a color that has been a part of every uniform since 1960. Get ready to see a lot more of it, starting with the first-round pick holding up the "Titans blue" uniform. "Our fans, our players, they love it," Nihill said. "The Titans blue has always been a part of this organization, and there is something that is uniquely this organization when that color is the dominant color. "You see it, and you know the team that is being represented – it's the Titans."
This is like a buying a social website then pretending you created it only to get mad when people still recognize it by it's old brand. It's not the Texans fault you didn't want to keep that specific shade of blue. Here is Htown legend in 2008 wearing the shade of blue you want to embrace more than never.
It's just a way to justify trying to cockblock the Texans from using it more prominently. Awfully catty move by the cattiest of them all.
Anybody see this? Does this mean we're going to get our H-Town uniforms replaced for the new Rivalries jersey or will it be just an additional uniform?
