They better not get the idea to splash H-town on the uniforms, just spell out Houston. Shoot spell it out phonetically, that way the dumb dumbs in New York can finally learn how to say it...
It seems like the Texans are telegraphing the new color scheme. Reclaiming "H-Town Blue, red and White". It is a way to reclaim Luv Ya Blue without the Oilers' name and log. The Titans can't stop them from using the colors, as the Texans can say that color predates the Oilers because of HPD. Hell, they can slightly darken/lighten the Columbia Blue and say it is a new color. It looks like the darkened the color a bit.
The new unit forms are really going to have these colors aren’t they smh. They just better look good and from everything I’ve seen about them they look really good
I don't like the font. Everything else can be done well. Red as the primary color. Red helmets. Blue as a secondary. Preferrably something other than white as the accent. Even silver.
I like that font if only because the H looks really, really good on it's own as evident on those ball caps posted earlier. It looks like a baseball logo, but it's clean, simple and has a classic feel to it. I'd rather see that H on the helmet with new colors vs just slapping new colors on the old logo which wouldn't make sense. Would feel very 2ks NBA where teams just recolored their old logos and it never looked good. Think Pistons going teal and gold back to blue and red. Raptors going purple and balck and red to just red and black. Suns changing it to just black and orange. All on the same logo. It just feels cheap and tacky. I dread seeing our logo with columbia blue and red recolor slapped on for a logo that's supposed to represent the Texas state flag. Makes no sense. That's where the solo H logo comes in. I suspect Columbia blue will make an appearance for an alternate color rush home and away set with the H logo on the helmet. Battle red and deep steel blue stay for primary sets with og logo. What i really like about all the H-TOWN, H logo with the red and Columbia blue merch is that the red is so vibrant and sexy. I've long hated the dull shades of red both the Rockets and Texans have used for so long. The Rockets finally got a better shade of red recently, but the new H-Town merch red just straight up pops.
I hope they go all white uniforms so the opponents can't see us in the snow just a competitive advantage
The battle reds in the video seem dulled down to me for some reason, no? Like the helmet doesn't seem as metallic and the jerseys aren't as dark or saturated as typical.
