Uniform changes....

Playing catch up here but it it sure looks like Amy Adams Strunk (the skank) successfully batted away our attempt to use anything resembling Columbia blue in our uniforms. Now, instead of an overhaul to reinvigorate the brand using colors from the past, we are left with almost insignificant, incremental changes to the existing uniforms. Is this correct?

The number font is already suspect but it looks even worse with the embossing.

 

That’s my least fave thing I’ve seen from any of these concepts…gives super duper Houston Rocket worst rebrand of all time vibes

 

Can we launch into 20 pages of dialogue over embossing and beveling like when the Astros rebranded in 2013?

 

Perhaps the embossed letters here caught their eye...?

 

Those guys absolutely nailed it and I hope the Rockets and Texans follow the same path.

Also in less than 15 years the Texans will have been here in Houston longer than the Oilers

I am so very old. Turning 50 in just over a week. I always get blown away by stats like that, because I still think of myself as young

 

50 is young brother. Live life to the fullest.

I lost my best friend a couple of months ago to a heart attack and he was only 45.

He was an A&M grad and a TX Rangers fan (49ers fan from his Dad)

I miss him everday.

Yea ngl these look kinda weird to me. Maybe just need to get used to it cause they’re so different than what we’re accustomed to.

Really think they missed an opportunity here to switch the “H” on the helmet with the primary logo on the Jersey though. Looks so much better imo. I get XFL vibes from these, especially with “H-Town” across the chest. Hopefully they’ll grow on me.
