I agree about the blue being a bad accent color here. I think it would have worked on a white or a red uniform.
A BBS thread fulll of racism and ignorance? Shocked! But as far as generating interest goes… Texans marketing dept has clearly done just that. This is a 115 page thread about uniforms, logos, colors, fonts.
I think there's a non-zero chance that this aesthetic morphs a bit over the years and it becomes our primary setup.
I probably would have liked the font initially if it were flat. However, upon first glance, it reminded me of a Western-themed ride at Astroworld or the 90s Rockets font. Since then, it has started to grow on me, but I still have reservations about the use of color, despite liking all the colors involved. Perhaps when the players are suited up, I'll gain a better perspective on the color usage. CJ Stroud liking them is all that matters to me
Getting cartoon shark rocket vibes with H-tine blue. Those unis grew on me after about 20 years. Would take them over the Yao era red today.

Any more about the second leak? It seemed we kind of brushed over them in all of that riveting debate. I liked that set a lot more and I hope that's what we get. Also seemed to confirm a red helmet with blue bull horns.

I think it will. I think the Antonio Brown links weren't right. I think they were somewhat close, but they didn't even go along with what the team has been leaking out. I would trust that second leak that Benjamin Albright vouched for much more. That set looks pretty good. The steel blue jersey with the star on the sleeves I think looks really good as a classic jersey.

I'll reply to this just to bump it to the end of the thread again. I think a lot of people glossed over it just because of the flurry of posts, and their content, that were going on in the thread at the time. Wish I could find a higher quality version of what's posted in this tweet. Edit: I stand corrected. I see the post above mine. I still would like to think that Albright's post has something to it. I think the helmets willl help tie things together.
I literally thought of Astroworld too. I assumed I was the only one lol also I really like the modern traditional…but I love the Bull one. So good.
