Then you hate the entire NBA because what you wear is a big part of the confidence your team has. Like NCAA football players when they get a special uniform or the Rockets with the Christmas day unis. You look good, you feel good. You feel good, you play good. You play good, you win.
The alternates are better than our normal home/away, but I'd love for us to take a page out of Bayern Munich's book and do a Dark Red/Gold color scheme.
Exactly what i've been asking for. Red and gold like the 49ers. It looks classy and timeless. The old school "desert gold" was too much like yellow and i'm annoyed when everyone calls it ketchup and mustard. Work away from that with a truer gold and plus it looks more modern.
Morey would be smart to consider a new uniform change this off-season. Couldn't have better timing with this successful season. I expect a uniform change one month prior of the season opener.
I can't remember, but maybe someone can answer. Don't you have to let the league know a year in advance b4 making any changes? Or was that just the logo? So i'd be shocked if it happened for next season. I'd be very let down if we just change the uniform and keep the logo. That would be a huge mistake. Update the old. Doesn't have to be anything fancy like what Detroit Pistons did with theirs. Although they messed up bc that horse/ball logo was amazing: http://www.sportslogos.net/logos/view/445/Detroit_Pistons/2002/Alternate_Logo
Totally love the idea of a yellow alt. Could use it for home & away games. Home: 'Rockets', White Road: 'Houston', Red Alt: 'Rockets' or 'Clutch City' (hah!), Yellow
Thank you for this. I kept thinking, "why no mention of Lin?". My vote, black-gold, Texas Tea! Actually don't care. Mustard and ketchup always looks good to me.
Them's fightin' words! Actually good point but you might need to put your gloves on suggestin the man hates the entire NBA.
I just saw this picture about the Piston's uniforms: https://twitter.com/MySportsLegion/status/367690902791143424/photo/1 "MySportsLegion NBA Legion The Pistons announced their new "Motor City" uniforms, which they will wear for 10 games this season. Awesome." That is interesting because I didn't know they would allow city nicknames to be on the jerseys now. Do you think if Houston put "Clutch City" on the front that would be cool?
