Linkage I've always been a fan of Paul Lukas and the Uni Watch feature on ESPN, as well as the blog; it's a nice change of pace from bickering about stats, GMs, coaches and injuries, and introduced me to vertically arched lettering, something that I love more than some posters here love Von Wafer, Vassilis Spanoulis, and every white guy taller than 6'7" who can shoot 3s. Anyways, this is a really nice column about pretty much every new alternate uniform, change in logo, commemorative patch, and special event going on in the NBA this upcoming season. A couple highlights for the lazy: Regarding the Rockets new alternate: On "heritage week": Remember when everyone was in a fuss that the road jerseys for the Rockets didn't have "Houston" on the front? And finally, something that I've never seen before, but was pretty impressed by. Check it out; I guaran-Sheed your productivity at work in the morning will be reduced by 15%.
why do the cavs get so many throwbacks/alternates with various colors... i know lebron gear sells but why can't the rockets do stuff like this....
Im pretty surprised the NBA gave the rockets a "heritage" day. Does that mean that the franchise is legitimized as one of the "storied" franchises? Surprising that Chicago isnt involved in it..
Thank goodness the Nets got rid of their blue road unis. Those jerseys reeked of the late 90's and needed to go for a few years now. The red is much better IMO.
