I already have both of the trilogies, and I like the first one digitally remastered, it's easier to watch.
I like the new versions better, myself. There are certainly changes that were for the worse - Greedo being a good example, but there are also improvements. I'll take the improvements and accept the missteps.

With Blu-Ray right around the corner, I'm thinking they can milk it plenty more times. This is one instance though where I have no problem double-dipping. The original Holy Trilogy on DVD with the 1977 Star Wars opening crawl to boot. Even the most devoted Lucas haters will have trouble finding fault with this announcement.
Some guy asked me in another thread why I changed my moniker. Well, it's silly, but A_3PO sounds like C_3PO and it's kind of like apostolic3 with some letters removed and the rest switched around some. Similar but different. Whatever. Probably should have chosen A2D2.
