I like Allan Ray the most.
He's athletic, has a 6'8 wingspan, pure shooter, quick.
He can still strengthen himself and learn to play defense.

Gansey gets my Vote. Not sure about Pittnoggle after the Steve Novak Pick.
Gansey could be a rotation player with High Basket Ball IQ.

If we want a serious PF presence cheap- I think Taj Grey is worth a look.

No point in all this- the Rockets are doing some really questionable deals and who knows what they will do!

If you want to look at McNamera, you might as well go after Gansey. Better player, higher bball IQ, better 3 point shooter, and probably more athletic.

We should take a look at Gansey, Pittsnoogle, Ray, and Washington, let them play for our summer league team. They sound like some interestign ppl to look at.

justin williams or eric hicks. both bring defense in the post and can block shots better than anyone in the draft minus tyrus thomas.

Justin Williams is sick are rebounding and blocking shots... he will need some works else where but he might be what we were hoping Badiene could have been.

Darius Washington is also someone we should look at.

Someone please explain to me why if the Rockets/JVG wouldn't play Rudy Gay they are going to be remotely interested in anyone mentioned in the thread?

Gansey seems like a JVG kind of guy: scrappy, will do whatever is needed, High B-ball IQ. Plus he's a four year college guy, and I think I read somewhere that he's already 24 years old (perhaps a little more mature than most rookies).

I just don't get this. We know that rockets management called just about everybody trying to make a trade. You don't think they have the 'determination' to make another phone call?

I read on West Virginia Message Board, Gansey leaning towards going to summer league with the Rockets. Pittsnogle has already agreed to play with Dallas.

sweet. I really think Gansey would be a great fit with the Rockets. I've seen some comparisons between him and Jeff Hornacek. Obviously, that's a long shot, but that's the kind of player the Rockets could use.
