Brandon Rush is still my target at the bottom of the first round. If he's there, I think he fits the Rockets perfectly. He can pass, handle, shoot, and defend, a true 4 tooler and possible McGrady replacement if we have to trade him or let him go at the end of his contract. Rush could play the 3rd swingman role behind McGrady/Battier and do well. He is ready.

I knew about him since the beginning of the year, BEFORE everyone jumped on the bandwagon:

We should pick, Rudy Mbemba! That kid is darn underrated but absolutely fantastic, reminds alot of Nate Archibald.

Went back through this video again looking at Chase's shot.

It sure appears to me that his shot mechanics have changed in the last 2 years. This video shows a lot smother release (granted they're playing around) than he appears to have now. He seems to get his shooting arm cocked jammed way under the ball now and it looks to me like he holds it a lot tighter and cocks it back against his shooting hand with his off arm. In this video, he seems like he holds the ball a lot "softer" and there is no wasted motion like there is in his shot today. Does anybody else see this in comparison to how he shoots it today?

You're right. And the reason is simple. The way he shoots now, he can get more range on his shot more consistently. With the way he shot in that video, to extend his range he would have to "push" the ball more. His current form allows him to shoot from anywhere without changing form.

because he wanted to be Tmac before coming into the league....but Chase realizes he just doesnt have that kinda talent and decided he'd be better to be a pure shooter

Kinda surprised Jarred Bayless is so bad now even with his athleticism
Chad Ford was projecting the Thunders to select Bayless with the 3rd pick

He has exceptional athleticism... very poor man's Derrick Rose.
