I'm very partial to Atmosphere. He's white but his lyrics are pretty up there.

Why don't you go listen to some of Z-Ro's songs? Nas does edge him on the lyrical side by a hair, but he completely wrecks Nas on the flow/delivery side. He is the BEST rapper to come out of Houston. Forget Scarface. He's been overrated.

Z-ro is another Gotti puppet, so he's trash.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....That's one of the funniest things I have EVER heard. I am not a big fan of Nas but zero is exactly what his name indicates: NOTHING.

You just lost ALL credibility with me Guo. No one, I repeat, no one in the history of Houston rap can carry Scarface's jock. If you were to ask some of the best rappers in the game who their top 10 would be, Face's name would be one of the first to roll off of their tongue's.

You talk about flow and delivery, but it's pretty clear you haven't got a clue. I knew 8 year old kids back in the day that had flow and could deliver rhymes 10 times better than the assclowns going gold these days. Most of the jokers out there today are all flash and no substance. They care about one thing...money. Don't get me wrong, that is what selling records is about, but as far a true artistic talent, they couldn't tell a story to a 5 year old at bedtime.

There are two types of rappers in the game today, those that only want to sell records and those that want to sell rhymes. There will always be a few record sellers that make a nice pile of cash mass producing regurgitated rhymes(Master P comes to mind - all flash and no substance, but rich as hell), but it's the guys that can sell original, powerful rhymes that can really rise to the top of the hill.

As a guy that grew up listening to rap during it's infancy and seeing how it's turned into a cesspool of clone rhymers, I'm pretty turned off by most of the people making records these days. The sad thing is it's not even entirely all of these "artists" fault because there are obviously people that will pay money to listen to 20 different guys write basically the same songs and even more guys manufacturing these "rappers".

You can't front when it comes to Face and the Geto Boys.

I hate all these generic scam rappers out there today. Cam'ron is probably the worst rapper I have ever heard. His flow consists of nothing but idiotic double-rhymes that make no sense but the idiots who worship NY hip hop hail him as a genius because it sounds smooth.

The best rappers in the game right now are -

    Eminem
    Jadakiss
    Nas
    Talib Kweli
    Mos Def
    Outkast

    Not far behind -

    Ludacris
    Kanye West
    Lloyd Banks
    Xzibit
    Flip

Truthfully I love Eminem but most of what he's put out in the last year has been ****. If he's reduced to singing hooks then he just stick behind the boards.

Name me 1 white rapper who will ever exceed the success that Eminem has. You cannot deny the genius of his 3 major albums, all were superb. He's still lyrically outstanding.

Em is a genius lyrically but I'll take Talib over them all. As for Houston rappers I'll take Street Military and Scarface(even though he falling off a tad bit) and Geto Boyz.

These guys never got the respect they deserved. I'm not saying they were better than Eminem, but they were pretty good.

im sorry i just find emenim to be somewhat annoying. mostly his voice, but he seems to be childish, his lyrics seem to be there for shock value, not really from the heart.

lets see white rappers that i like better then him.

    kno w/ cunninluinguist
    aesop rock
    sage francis
    atmosphere
    madchild w/ swollen members

    on a side note:

i have met every one of those guys except atmosphere, and they are all down to earth nice people. which im almost sure emenim isnt. sorry he just seems like an homophobic as*hole to me.

and i think the only reason black rappers (dr. dre) gave him any respect is because they found out a lot of the subburb white kids liked him and found they could make money off of him in diffrent ways.

Haha no. He's the one that comes with all the beats, so he has a right to be in the videos. Plus, I think he's pretty funny.

    YEAAAAAAH!

moestavern my ignorance is astounding me this very moment because i dont understand what i said as being racist.

most of the black guys i know that are in the game dont like eminem. i mean i dont have deep conversations with them but i know most of them dont care for the guy.

most of the people i know that like Em like 50 cent, ja rule, nelly, g unit. and all that crap. of course more of the people i hang out with guy wise are into the more underground stuff. going to shows all the time. stuff like that.

by the way i think your the first person on this board that has insulted me. congrats...;)
