Maybe they arent jinx threads, perhaps its just that the good teams find a way to win close games. Ya know, like how the Rockets beat Seattle, Minnesota and Indiana earlier this season. Surely other teams boards had posts like, "Wolves taking it to Rockets", or "Pacers outgunning Rockets", or "Seattle up in 4th over Rockets."

That being said, just keep quiet about play-off rivals losing a big game till its over. :D

^Steve Nash sure is doing his damnest to try to win it for the Suns. That was huge, tough looking 3 he hit there.

Oh and a steal by Hill and they are only down by 2 now :/ .

What a choke job by Charlie Bell in Milwaukee. My goodness!
Then Redd has a chance to tie and he chokes the FT.
The Spurs could have lost today and SHOULD have lost to Minny a few games ago.

The Shaq trade continues to look like a huge mistake. But it's still possible the Suns could figure things out before the season is over.

Thank God the Sixers managed to win even after they nearly choked completely.

Yess, 1 more loss for another top WC team!

If the Rockets win tomorrow that will go a long way in getting a playoff spot

Next game for Suns: Suns @ Utah... Come on Utah! Can't believe I am rooting for the freaking Jazz, but hopefully they don't disappoint like did they last night against the Hornets!

man i am upset that spurs won again tonight, thats 2 road games that they should have lost but didnt....telfair had a wide open look in the minnesota game and redd of all people misses the free throw..ugh but those are breaks.

the suns though are not looking too good right now that makes tomorrows games against the denver that much more important to win!

A win tomorrow and a very possible loss by Dallas (against the Lakers) would get us 1/2 game ahead of Dallas and tied with Pheonix. And of course we have a better record than Utah...

I am rooting for the Jazz. Simple logic - one of Jazz or Nuggets will be No. 4 seed. The Rockets cant pass them and they are behind us.

I am rooting for the Suns to lose so the Rockets can pass the Suns.

In all seriousness, if the Rockets finish the season strong and make the playoffs, I can see both the Nuggets and Warriors passing the Suns. After a cursory look, Phoenix's remaining schedule seems fairly tough. While I doubt it happens, they could lose their next 4 games, stretch the losing streak to 6 and drop to 9th place in a hurry.

even if utah does not win a single game from now on, they'd still be the 4th seed because of division title, thanks to the stupid nba rules. so every time utah plays a western team that is ahead of us, we should hope utah win the game.

the lakers lost last night and the suns tonight. couple of these teams ahead of us are gonna slide a bit i think. only wish we still had yao so we can have another strong push in march. oh well...
