How long did the ceasefire in Gaza last ?
Maybe we get a couple months to a year at best .

We also could see Iran retaliate covertly , through terror and a proxy group .

    Israel could assassinate people

It could also depend on how the negotiations go . Especially concerning the not destroyed uranium.

Also , my read of the situation is this . Us and Israel want to bully Iran more right now . Iran would prefer time and working in the shadows. We spent a good chunk mobilizing and are primed in the region. Iran doesn't want this much smoke. They need us to back off.

Also , from a financial standpoint, I doubt this was a good trade for US and Israel. Those interceptors vs the missiles from Iran , what's the cost comparison?

Iran would love to let Israel restock and wait a few months and then do the same thing again. Bleeding us dry . Of course if the missiles cost more for Iran then I'm wrong . But they are probably using old Soviet stuff lol

    Edit .

I forgot to mention , that like the previous two calls for peace this could also be a ruse by the US and Israel to give Iran a false sense of security (unlikely) and eliminate more targets .

Israel won't give up. They do need the cease-fire though.

While Israel's attack is an escalation, it has happened in the past. The U.S. action, however, is new. It is stark and clear to Iran that they have no one to rely on - not Russia, not China. "Regime change" being mentioned is a stark and clear reminder to them of what's at stake. North Korea was more proactive after Bush and the US went after nations and called them part of the axis of evil.

You just don't stand still when you are not just in the crosshairs, but directly attacked and mentioned. Iran's nuclear development will go fully underground and likely accelerate. The cost to their people and their infrastructure from all the bombing will take a toll, but their survival is more important to them than any of those.

Israel knows exactly what it is doing. Israel is playing Trump like a fiddle ... like it always has.

Trump remains clueless. We should expect empty threats from Trump against Israel, while they laugh at Trump behind his back.

It probably helps a lot for the US choosing to not escalate that JD Vance is VP and was in Iraq and is not as pro-War as many of the other high ranking GOP members who fawn over Trump.

A lot of the pro-Russian MAGA faction are coming out pro-Iran, which tracks. But MAGA has a lot of influential zionists too.

Iran should take this opportunity to reform and Israel should take this opportunity to end their Gaza campaign (and all their campaigns). And Hamas should release the last of the hostages.

In lieu of diplomacy, Trump expects his random tweets truths to be obeyed by all ... foreign and domestic.

At least, Trump thanked Israel and Iran for their attention to this cease fire matter.

    Let that sink in.

Iranian sleeper cell just nabbed in Minnesota. This is why you need a secure border. You have no idea who is crossing -- and in this case it looks like Biden let in Hezbollah.

    Trump's winning streak continues.

The USA should cut off Israel completely, we give them more than 10m per day, and they have National Healthcare, our taxes are paying for their healthcare - what a bunch of bullshit.

Trump flails as Iran and Israel lash out amid supposed ceasefire

President Donald Trump spent Tuesday morning whining and fuming that leaders in Iran and Israel were not lining up behind his efforts to coordinate global diplomacy via his social media network.

Speaking on the White House lawn to reporters, Trump said that he was “not happy” that Israel fired on targets in Iran after he had announced that a ceasefire agreement had been reached between the two nations.

“We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the **** they’re doing,” Trump angrily yelled to reporters before walking away.

His public display of anger and ineptitude followed hours of premature announcements and strange online postings.

On Monday night, Trump declared, “Israel & Iran came to me, almost simultaneously, and said, ‘PEACE!’” He followed that up a few hours later with the claim that a ceasefire agreement had been reached.

But at 6:50 AM ET on Tuesday, Trump issued an all-caps warning to Israel via his Truth Social account.

“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!” he wrote, adding his full name and title to the end of the post.

The Trump post came after Israel accused Iran of violating the terms of the ceasefire. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said his nation would respond to Iran’s alleged attacks.

“I have instructed the IDF [Israel Defense Forces], in coordination with the Prime Minister, to continue the intense activity of attacking Tehran to thwart regime targets and terrorist infrastructures,” Katz said.

The Israeli government later confirmed that strikes on Iran had occurred, despite Trump’s ceasefire claims.

After the back-and-forth with Israel and Iran and his White House meltdown, Trump later claimed again that peace had been achieved

Following Trump’s decision to attack Iranian nuclear sites over this past weekend, the United States has stepped firmly into the middle of the Iran-Israel conflict. The escalation follows a campaign season in which Trump claimed he would limit American involvement in international warfare.

Trump’s actions regarding Iran run contrary to public opinion. Polls before and after the strikes have shown that most Americans do not want to be militarily involved in the situation. Trump was reportedly goaded into the attack after absorbing hours of Fox News coverage of the crisis and getting personally lobbied by conspiratorial Fox News host Mark Levin.

Trump is attempting to negotiate high-level diplomacy via his social media account. Conflicts in the Middle East involve complex issues involving history, faith, and global politics of supreme importance. But here is Trump, trying to post through it all and expressing infantile anger when things don’t go precisely the way he thinks they should.

They should be deported, but I strongly doubt any truly nefarious persons in the bunch. Probably combination of criminals and people fleeing Iran for economic opportunity.

I originally thought we attacked so we wouldn't need a nuclear deal. But, now, it looks like we might still need one after all.

"Men, I'm fixing to advise the President that we may have to send in the bombers once again when Iran balks at a nuclear deal post-attacks. We might have to go through this thing again after all!"

"I'm sorry. Put that back at DEFCON 2 if you would! I thought there was a 0."

Do you know how long those 11 have been in the country? There could be sleeper cells all over this country who have been here for many years now. One thing I don't feel confident in is some intern in training as head of Counter Terrorism

Before the war the iranians hadn't decided to build a bomb. What do you think their take away from the war is going be? That they need to build a bomb more so than ever before..... and their facilities are still in tact...

Literally worst case scenario. Everything i predicted was right @Astrodome . If you going do something you better accomplish the goal

I guess Trump is back to saying that he does not seek a regime change in Iran once again. Meanwhile I see Israel has activated it's mobilization order on Reservists until July 10th.
